Romford Bags Race 12

Romford Greyhound Owners Association Mdn Stayers

Stake: $1,464

VELVET ROLO (1) did a good job to finish second last time out over 400m at this track (24.56) in an A2, the second top-three finish on the trot. Looks suited here and big improvement expected. NAVYS DOLLY (5) racing well without winning, placing at her last four runs. Last time finished 2nd in a OR3 on October 17 over 664m at Central Park behind Newinn Aero beaten 1.75 lengths (40.65). Likely to be in the finish again. LAVA ACE (4) had been racing in honest fashion recording four placings in a row before finishing fourth (36.45) at this track latest. Will give the top chances plenty to think about. COOLANGA DIAMOND (2) collected a minor prize last start and must be considered.

Sizzled early but found one better when runner up (24.56) at this track over 400m. Goes very well from this draw including seven wins. Leading player.

In the money at this track at her last couple of starts, most recently finishing third over 400m. Won't find this much tougher. Definite contender.

Could only manage fifth last time out over 575m at this track, a continuation of some ordinary form. Not one of the leading chances on this occasion.

Sent out long odds last time but rocketed out of the boxes with a scorching early sectional and gave a sight before being swallowed up late, finishing a 4.5 lengths fourth (24.86) over 400m at this track. Hard to have this time.
