Romford Bags Race 5

Romford Friday Night 500 Standard - Heat 1

Stake: $1,312

BRINDLE BULLY (6) goes very well this course and distance starting 44 times for 17 wins and 17 minors. Missed the frame latest (24.80) when fifth over 400m at this track in a OR. Expected to go close. SKIDROE LADY (3) followed a unplaced effort at Central Park two back with a sound second, beaten 2.25 lengths, last start in a OR at this track over 400m (24.46). Expected to measure up this far easier company. MY NAME SIDDY (4) jumped cleanly last start and led all the way (24.12) at this track in a OR over 400m. Expecting another bold showing. DROOPYS SAOIRSE (1) claimed a OR win two back before missing the frame at her latest appearance in a OR at this track over 400m (24.54). Deserves another chance this far easier class.

Flew the lids with a sizzling early split but gathered in late when a narrow fourth (24.54) over 400m at this track. Look for improvement. Not out of it.

Well fancied last time and burnt early, giving a sight but could manage only second (24.46) at this track over 400m. Boxed on well to finish runner-up last time. Leading player.

Comes off a (24.12) win last time, scoring by 3 lengths in a OR over 400m at this track. Form strong at this course and distance, with two wins and a placing from four starts. With even luck and a clean start he can sneak into the finish.

Was out of the placings last time over 400m at this track (24.80) in a OR, beaten 6 lengths. Boasts good form here at the journey with 17 wins and 17 minor placings from 44 tries. Appeals greatly.
