It's very rare for LEAP TO FAME (6) to come into a race off back-to-back defeats but the efforts certainly haven't been disasters. Did some work in the Victoria Cup last week and while he felt the pinch late he didn't give up. Questions remain as to whether he is at his very best but he doubt he needs to be to get away with this. CATCH A WAVE (5) was nearly 10m behind LEAP TO FAME when midfield last week. Draws wider so it won't be easy to bridge that gap he does have clearly the second best resume in the race. BULLETPROOF BOY (4) did the near unthinkable when beating Leap To Fame in the Smoken Up Sprint before coming back to earth in the Victoria Cup. Should be contesting a top-three spot. There looks to be a gap to the others but LOUIE LOU I NZ (3) could be next best.
