Recorded one of the quickest times on the card last start despite being beaten. Sure to be about the mark. HARPER SMIRCH (7) broke well and quickly mustered speed to win over the 300m at this track two runs back then settled forward again when finishing second at this track last start. Ran one of the fastest times on the program last start despite finishing in the minors. Expected to feature again. QUEST FOR POWER (8) turned in a plain effort last time when eighth at this track over 300m behind Good Handles (18.46) in a Grade 4/5. Yet to win out of this box but has been in the placings five times from seven starts. Has the ability to give this a shake. WOODBURN GRACE (2) with some luck can improve on an unplaced run last time here.
