The Meadows Race 11

Hector Fawley At Stud

Stake: $10,806

PAR EXCELLENCE (4) lines up here off a comfortable win at this track after jumping from box 4 (30.14). Will need some luck early after drawing a tricky box here. Ran one of the fastest times on the program in his latest win. Looks the testing material. PAW YARIS (7) finds it hard to break through. Better run when finding the frame last time though, finishing second (30.32) at this track. Solid formlines coming through her last run. Will give a great sight again. PRINCE VALHALLA (1) drifted back settling but did best work late to finish 5th at Warragul over 460m (26.24). Consistent performer from this draw with a win and six minor placings to his credit. Likely to be about the money. UNIVERSE (6) can run a bold race on best form.

Comments

Could only manage fifth last time but the start prior went down fighting at double figure odds when second (25.43) over 450m at Shepparton. Has the inside draw and capable of a better result.

Good performance to post a big 4 lengths win at this track over 525m (30.14) beating Reuben Hill in Grade 5 on September 23. Recorded one of the quickest times on the card last time. Worth following up.
