Opperman sticking might be a good lead and he draws the inside so he can be right near the speed. The rest of the field are debutants so it will pay to follow the market. DINAH BEACH (1) was a cheapie at the sales that has shown something at the jumpouts. Draws to get the run of the race and can be in the finish. SAMSTORM (3) has a nice pedigree and has won a jump out so he must be some chance here. Respect Andrew Gluyas in 2YO races so consider CHURCHILL ROSE (4), although she may want further than 1000m.
